Discover Rome
Rome is a city where history is part of everyday life. Students stand inside the Colosseum, walk the Roman Forum where the empire was governed, and see Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling in the Vatican Museums. Between the great sights are the squares and fountains that make the city feel alive — Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps — and the narrow streets of Trastevere across the Tiber. Our Rome programmes are guided by a group leader throughout and are built for school groups.
Weather
Rome has a Mediterranean climate: hot, dry summers (28–32°C) and mild, wet winters (8–13°C). Spring and autumn (18–24°C) are ideal for walking the city.
Getting There
Rome is served by two airports, Fiumicino (FCO) and Ciampino (CIA). Our groups are met at the airport and transferred to their hotel. The city centre is walkable, and Roma Termini is the hub for high-speed trains to Florence and Venice.
